In June 2025, we put into operation the complete control of the wheel machining line for our important customer.
The line consists of two SKIT 12 double-support carousels, two controlled manipulators for inserting wheels into the carousels and roller conveyors ensuring the transport of wheels within the line.
The control of the entire line is provided by two SINUMERIK ONE control systems on the carousels and a SIMATIC S7-1500 PLC control system for controlling both manipulators and conveyors. Communication between the control systems is ensured, as well as communication with the corporate network and remote system management.
The entire design of the control and communication of the line, its revival and commissioning took place with the very intensive and highly professional support of Siemens Brno technicians, for which we owe them a big thank you.
